This disclosure explains how Tildmakes money. It’s required by the FTC (USA), ASCI (India), and just common decency. Nothing below changes the advice in any post — if a recommendation wouldn’t hold up without the commission, we wouldn’t make it.
If you see banner ads or in-article ads labelled "Advertisement," those are served by Google AdSense (or equivalent ad network). We don’t hand-pick which ads appear. Google may use cookies to personalise ads; you can opt out via Google’s ad settings.
Some links in posts are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are clearly labelled in the post and are routed through our /api/go/<slug> redirector so we can track clicks (aggregated, not personal) and keep destination URLs current.
We only sign up for affiliate programs for tools we use ourselves or would recommend with no commission. If that ever changes, this page will be updated immediately.
Occasionally we run sponsored banner slots or entire sponsored posts. These are always labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the banner/post. The sponsor does not get editorial control over post content; they approve copy only for the directly sponsored content (e.g. the banner itself).
Sponsored arrangements never include:
Some posts and the premium newsletter tier are gated behind a paid subscription. Subscription revenue goes directly to running the Site and paying for tools used in research. Cancellation is one-click at /me/subscription.
We sell boilerplates, e-books, and similar digital products via Razorpay. Every sale is direct — no third-party marketplace. Refund policy is at /terms.
If you’re unsure whether a given link or post has a financial relationship, email mahendhar2004@gmail.com and we’ll tell you.
